The key research interest of the research group Industrial Services is to examine how information systems (IS) can effectively be used by organizations for service innovation and for achieving service process excellence. As innovation processes have become more open, global and collaborative, a particular focus on the different roles that IS can have within innovation processes and how they impact innovation outcome is needed. We perform conceptual, empirical and design-oriented research in the fields of service process management and service innovation.
